Itinerary tips

• 1Plan for at least 2 to 3 hours on the water to explore the narrow inlets and the northern red rock canyons.
• 2Arrive before 9:00 AM to secure a parking spot near the boat ramp and beat the afternoon wind gusts.
• 3Rent boards directly on-site from DIG Paddlesports located right on the beach if you don't have your own gear.
• 4Purchase your Utah State Parks day pass at the entrance gate or via the QR codes posted at the parking lots.
• 5Bring a waterproof dry bag for your phone and keys, as the wakes from passing motorboats can occasionally cause small swells.
• 6Pack plenty of water and sun protection, as the white sand beaches and red cliffs reflect intense heat throughout the day.
