Plan Utah From Your Favorite AI Assistant
Connect Experience Utah to ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, or any assistant that supports remote connections. Once connected, your assistant can search our Utah stays, local experiences and trusted partners, and build a trip for you — signed in as you.

Copy this and paste it into your assistant when it asks for a server or connector URL.

ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice ChatGPT shows there). If you don't see it, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
- Open the New plugin dialog.
- Enter Experience Utah as the name and paste the URL above.
- Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connection), then click Create.
- Sign in to Experience Utah and approve access.
- Enable Experience Utah from the chat composer, then ask it to plan your Utah trip.
Claude
- Open the prefilled Claude connector dialog.
- Review the details and click Add.
- If the prefilled form doesn't open, go to Claude → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Experience Utah, and paste the URL above.
- Sign in to Experience Utah and approve access.
- Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to plan your Utah trip.
Claude Code
Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http experience-utah 'https://experience-utah.com/mcp'
- Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Experience Utah is connected.
- Choose sign in from that menu and approve access.
- Ask Claude Code to plan your Utah trip.
Other AI assistants
- Open your assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
- Create a new remote connection.
- Name it Experience Utah and paste the URL above.
- Finish the Experience Utah sign-in and approval prompts.
- Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to plan your Utah trip.
Assistant menus move around — check your assistant's current connection docs if something looks different.
Refresh after we ship updates
Assistants remember what Experience Utah could do when you first connected. When we add something new, refresh the connection.
ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Experience Utah.
- Scroll to "Information" and click Refresh.
- If the address above changed, delete the app from Plugins and connect again with the new URL.
- Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Experience Utah.
Claude
- Open the Connectors page and select Experience Utah.
- Refresh or update the connector's tools.
- If the address above changed, remove the connector and add it again with the new URL.
- Ask Claude to use Experience Utah.
Claude Code
- Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest version on connect.
- If the address changed, run
claude mcp remove experience-utahand run the install command again. - Ask Claude Code to use Experience Utah.
Other AI assistants
- Open your assistant's connector settings and select Experience Utah.
- Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
- If the address changed, paste the latest URL from above.
- Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Experience Utah.
Can access
Public Experience Utah content — stays, published FAQs, area guides, verified partners, general availability — plus your own saved trip.
Never accessed
Other travelers' trips or reservations, guest personal information, door codes, check-in details, admin data, or partner commercial terms.
Signing in and disconnecting
You'll sign in to Experience Utah the first time you connect, so the assistant only ever acts as you. Everything it saves also shows up in My Trip. You can revoke access anytime from your assistant's connected-apps settings.
