Bike the Logan River Trail

OutdoorEasySpringSummerFall

Enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the paved Logan River Trail, winding through parks and natural areas. A refreshing way to experience the city's green spaces.

Itinerary tips

  • 1Park at Ray Hugie Hydro Park to access the canopy-covered canyon section or Rendezvous Park for a flatter, open-valley experience.
  • 2Allocate 60 to 90 minutes for a round-trip ride, allowing time to stop at the various fishing ponds and interpretive signs along the route.
  • 3Bring a light sweater even in summer, as the trail creates a natural breeze-way and sections near the river stay significantly cooler.
  • 4Bicycle rentals are available at several shops in downtown Logan, just a few minutes’ drive from the main trailheads.
  • 5Continue your ride past the formal trail end into Logan Canyon to connect with the Wind Caves trailhead for a more strenuous hike.
  • 6Store snacks in a pannier or backpack to enjoy a picnic at the tables located near the golf course section of the path.
