Sunset E-Bike Ride Through Snow Canyon
Glide past ancient lava flows and red Navajo sandstone cliffs on the paved trail as the desert heat begins to fade in the evening.
Itinerary tips
- 1Rent your e-bikes in Ivins or St. George to ride directly into the park via the Snow Canyon Parkway paved path.
- 2Allow at least 2 hours to complete the 12-mile round trip loop with frequent stops for photos at the lava tubes.
- 3Pack a light windbreaker even in summer as the canyon temperatures drop rapidly once the sun dips below the red rock cliffs.
- 4Ensure you have a valid Utah State Park pass or pay the $15-$20 vehicle/pedestrian entry fee at the southern gate.
- 5Stick to the paved Snow Canyon Loop Trail as e-bikes are strictly prohibited on the sandy hiking paths.
- 6Carry at least one liter of water per person in a backpack or bottle cage, as there are limited refilling stations inside the canyon.
