• 1Check the Zion National Park website or the visitor center board for the daily schedule as start times shift with sunset.
• 2Bring a camp chair or a thick blanket to stay comfortable while looking upward during the 45-to-60-minute presentation.
• 3Use a red-light flashlight or headlamp to preserve your night vision and that of those around you during the walk to the program site.
• 4Pack a light jacket or extra layers even in summer, as desert temperatures drop significantly once the sun goes down.
• 5Arrive at the designated trailhead or amphitheater 20 minutes early to secure a spot before the ranger begins the laser tour.
• 6Ensure you have your valid National Park pass or have paid the entrance fee at the gate, as ranger programs are included with park entry.
