Yoga in the Homestead Crater
AdventureEasySpringSummerFallWinter
Practice paddleboard yoga or simply soak in a 95-degree geothermal spring hidden inside a 55-foot tall limestone dome.
Itinerary tips
- 1Reserve your soak or yoga session at least two weeks in advance as spots inside the dome are strictly limited.
- 2Bring a swimsuit and a towel, but leave the bulky yoga mat at home since paddleboards are provided for the class.
- 3Arrive 15 minutes early at the Homestead Resort in Midway, which is a scenic 25-minute drive from downtown Park City.
- 4Plan for exactly 60 minutes in the water, as sessions are timed to manage the unique air quality and capacity of the crater.
- 5Utilize the on-site changing rooms and lockers, but keep valuables in your car as space inside the crater itself is cramped.
- 6Rinse off immediately after your session to remove the high mineral content from your skin and swimwear.
