heber-valley
Quiet lakes between the peaks.
A slower, more affordable Wasatch valley with reservoirs, hot springs, and easy Park City access.
Heber Valley sits fifteen minutes south of Park City with two reservoirs, a working ranch landscape, and a fraction of the resort-town prices. It is where locals go to boat, fish, and soak, and it is the quiet side of a Wasatch trip.
Heber Valley sits just over Jordanelle Reservoir from Park City, about 20 minutes from Main Street. It trades resort bustle for open ranch land, two big reservoirs, and a small-town main street in Heber City and Midway.
Don't miss: Jordanelle and Deer Creek reservoirs for paddleboarding and boating, the Homestead Crater hot spring in Midway, the Heber Valley Railroad, and Wasatch Mountain State Park golf.
Good to know: Heber makes a good day trip from a Park City stay when you want water time in summer or a break from the resort crowds during ski season.
Boat rentals, sandy swim beaches, and Park City fifteen minutes up the road.
Soak or scuba dive inside a 65-foot limestone dome at 96°F, year-round.
A vintage steam train along Deer Creek Reservoir — an easy win with small kids.
A Labor Day tradition that fills the whole town.
